Rolling - Kindergarten to Grade 2

I hope all of you were able to go outside and be ACTIVE in the warmer weather this weekend!  Here is a Warm-Up to begin the week.  Find an open space where you will not bump into any furniture and follow along with me.  Please click on the colored words to begin:
                                                             FUN Warm-Up

Do you remember when we practiced rolling with a hula hoop and played games where we rolled balls?  Your challenge this week is to find something at your home that you can ROLL.  A pair of socks or small ball would be perfect!  Click on the colored words below to watch the video.

                                                           ROLLING CHALLENGE   

Try your best and see how many times you can ROLL your object through the chair legs!  How far back can you stand and still make your target?



Here are 3 Yoga Poses to try when you need to calm down.  Remember to: 

  •  Remove your socks to keep your feet from   sliding on slippery floors
  •  Hold each pose for at least 20 seconds
